BJM: Cornmaker

“Cornmaker” is a bizarre sketch about hopes, dreams, desires, and corn. This is the first sketch in which Drew, Andy and myself play characters outside of ourselves- Bob, Jimmy and Mike respectively. The characters originated from a hilariously offbeat comic strip Drew used to do quite regularly. The idea to play characters outside of ourselves was an artistic choice to help add to the credibility during the events that transpire in the course of the eleven minutes of “Cornmaker”. The circumstances that follow are truly from the realm of science fiction.

My favorite part was when the Cornmaker told us how clever we are.

Well, I liked it. It took me 23 days to load it, but it’s well worth it.

Especially the fact that Andy looks like Gonzo with that gasmask on.

I thought alot about what I’d put in the cornmaker.

My first thought was money. But I realized, above all other things, that this is what I would put in it:

    Jessica Alba.

Then we could put the rest of the women in concentration camps or something. Use them for food.
