We began shooting this sketch the night Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was released. It’s only been 4 weeks since then and the release of the last Harry Potter book. After shooting that evening, Andy and I conjured up a spell of our own by sending a message psychically to our future selves- demanding that they send us an edited version of the sketch (from the future). We had done so much work shooting and managing a preliminary edit that we felt we would enlist the help of our future selves- who ’s experience would inevitability be superior to our own resulting in a better product. The instantaneous gratification didn’t come, week after week we waited, until this afternoon.

It turns out our future selves finally finished the never-ending work in progress. But it turns out our future selves were actually the same as our present selves from the night of the shoot. So I just wanted to take the opportunity to tell our “four-week future selves” to go fuck themselves and also thanks for nothing.

And you know, what really got my blood boiling was that today we got a “psychic message” from the past. Now our past selves are asking for a cut of the sketch. It’s bull shit. I’ve no intent on sending them anything- so deal with it.
