THE P! COMPANY LIVE SHOW coming soon!!!!

Well fans, The P! Company has momentarily dipped below the radar again, but not without purpose. We’ve been taking a sabbatical from the rigors of the P! Co’s online content in order to prepare for our month-long run of The P! Company Live Show.

We’ll be performing at the Coldtowne Theater, Friday Nights in October at 8pm. Andy and I have prepared two original hour long shows with our extended cast. The live show is a different beast- requiring rehearsals, planning, extensive writing, juggling various technical elements, etc. But it has been a blast to stretch our proverbial comic wings. Anyway, go check us out on Facebook in order to confirm us for our event. Below is the write-up we had pieced together.

Happy labor day!

We have a little treat for the fans of the P! Company. As most may know, the P! Company has a unique way of “writing” the sketches you see up on this website. More specifically how we don’t write them, and we sort of organically discover the sketch when shooting.

But time after time, we leave so much funny material on the cutting room floor. For example, the original cut of The Adventures of Mario Master & Solid Snake was closer to 12 minutes and it included a completely different ending. We also cut two entire shot scenes from the sketch. I figured since most of these scenes that we cut are already edited together and polished to a degree that there would be no harm in showing them. The website has essentially become like a DVD with special features. So below are two missing scenes from The Adventures of Mario Master & Solid Snake

Deleted Scene #1 takes place just after the initial “Toys R Us” scene. The scene itself was fuel to a missing sub-plot about a strange and convenient Nintendo tournament that the guys would enter in order to win a SNES.

Deleted Scene #2 takes place just after Deleted Scene #1. In the scene, Mario Master and Solid Snake find a pay phone to register for the mysterious tournament.

Anyway, enjoy these clips and we’ll be working hard on some new material for the website and also the live show next month.
