Alamo Public Access TONIGHT!!!

Alamo Open Screen Night lives on in the reincarnated Alamo Public Access brought to the stage and screen by our friends over at Studio8 and the New Movement.

It’s been almost a year since the last open screen night where The P! Company showcased the original Forbidden Zone and as well as P! Company fan-favorite F*R*I*E*ND*. This year, we’ve got a handful more of videos to see how we stack up with the others in Austin.

It’s all happening tonight at the Alamo Ritz (Downtown) at 9:35pm. Click here for tickets and more info. Be there or be square.

CAGEMATCH this week…

Cagematch is competitive improv where two teams collide in a battle for comic glory. There’s a lucky treat as you get the chance to see something rare- The P! Company improvising for their lives along side and against friends and rivals Ramirez & Gilstrap, and that’s only half the show.

SATURDAY NIGHT!
TIGER BEAT VERSUS RAMIREZ & GILSTRAP VS. THE P! COMPANY

TIGER BEAT
Cower before the claws of this lean, mean improv machine, featuring the fang-baringly intimidating Erik Adams, Patrick Knisely, and Katie Sicking.

RAMIREZ & GILSTRAP VS. THE P! COMPANY
It’s a CageMatch-within-a-CageMatch! Laconic comics Nick Ramirez and Lance Gilstrap take on deranged sketch monkeys Andy Petruzzo and Kyle Sweeney for bragging rights to this half of the show.

We came, We Saw, We Heard, We Conquered

The See.Hear.Speak.4 performances have come to a close. The comedy festival put on by local comedy theater, Coldtowne, has officially wrapped it’s fourth year with the fest (and the P! Company’s second year).

It’s now that we take that minor step back, and say, “Wow. We made a lot of videos. We should show them off to people.”

So prepare to see some of what the P! Company has been up to over the last couple of months with new video sketches every week or so. 2009 is the year of the P! Company- so get ready for a lot more action here.

We’ve also been working on a new marketing campaign and motto for the P! Company. “Go P! – thepcompany.com”. This should help promote us and the site as we transition into uber celebrities.

It’s Awards Season

This time of year always reminds me of the recognition of wonderful work with all the different entertainment based award shows. The P! Company has decided to follow suit in this the second annual P! Company Awards Show 2009.

Awards for best actor, actress, dramatic moment, classic comic moment, special effects, and much more will be given out to the best and brightest from within the P! Company’s sketch comedy community.

And at the end of the evening someone will take home the best sketch comedy troupe award. Speculation is afoot, but sources are confident that the P! Company will have locked up the best sketch comedy award- as it is their own award show.

This performance plus awards show is a part of the comedy festival “See.Hear.Speak.4.”
Join us for all the glitz and glamor for the P! Company’s night of “See” – January 15th, 8pm at the Coldtowne Theater.

And if you are into music, The P! Company is also performing in the next night of shows with “Hear” – January 16th, 10pm at the Coldtowne Theater.
