January 23, 2012

The Morning Sausage returns January 26, 2012. Come out for all the fun Coldtowne Theater, Thursday, 10pm.

The Night Show with Josh Krilov

Andy and Kyle have been working on a local Austin “Late Night” show hosted by their friend and cohort Joshua Krilov. The Night Show with Josh Krilov has been a fun and exciting adventure into the talk show format. Andy has been fulfilling the role of co-host and Kyle the position of head writer for the show. Josh also took a bunch of video of us goofing off behind the scenes on the show- they are all in a playlist here.

If you get a chance definitely catch up with the show- the performances have been sold out. This Thursday, November 18th @ 10pm is the last episode of the month run. Look forward to seeing you!

The Biggest TV Star in 1990: Andy Petruzzo

Andy here. It’s been a while since I’ve posted – but I’ve got something that will blow your mind!!!

For many young actors, the allure of stage and screen proves irresistible. It takes years of training, hard work, sacrifice, and a lucky break to even get on a commercial. I got that break in 1990 on a Houston KTRK Channel 13 broadcast of “Good Morning Houston.”

It was after this brush with fame that I got a free ride to Julliard and hobnobbed with some of the greats, including Peter Jurasik from Babylon 5.

Watch – all you actors out there might just learn a little something about a thing called “acting.”

THE SOCIAL WAR

This week The P! Company had a unexpected eruption the likes of which we’d never seen before. Over the social networking site Facebook, we each let our savage natures get the better of us.

For 38 straight minutes, statuses were feverishly posted- each liked or un-liked, some reported to Facebook High Command. Comments bounced back and forth- any soul that attempted to step in between the two warring factions was quickly annihilated under the thick breathe this war had breed.

Both Andy and myself let an ugly side of ourselves out onto the unsuspecting web, and for that- we apologize.

But for your entertainment we’ll post a nice representation of the middle of the day’s events or you could click here

____

Andy: I like how you think you’re too cool for school, but you’re so not. Not even close!!

Kyle: Andy, I like how you always say you are “all that and a bag of chips,” but in actuality you are not “that” or “a bag” or “chips”.

Andy: Please join me in celebrating national Travis County “Shut Up Kyle, He’s a Dummy” Year

Kyle: Andy, you think your interests are “charming” and “quirky” when really they are not. Crocheting a series of Starfleet uniforms for your Barbie doll collection is not cool (or normal).

Andy: Your @$$ is grass

Kyle: I’m cool. Others drool. Click that you like this- if you hate Andy! Tweet with this hashtag to join the movement #andyblowskylerock

Andy: Become the mayor of Kyle’s Microscopic Penis on Foursquare (if you can fit!!!)

Kyle: Uncool. I’m the Mayor of my Penis!

Andy: Everyone, please say something mean about Kyle on this thread!!!!

Kyle: Here’s some math for you… Andy < Kyle. You just got mathed.

Andy [as Kyle]: loves Andy sooooooooooo much@@@! :

Kyle: I DO NOT! I DO NOT!!!! MY ACCOUNT WAS HACKED!!!!!

Andy: Is this true, Kyle?

Video Sketch: “2001: A Space TV Show”

A new week, a new sketch video….

CBS has acquired the rights to Kubrick’s classic science fiction film, 2001: A Space Odyssey- and here is the repackaged television goodness. It’s surely a series that will last as many season’s as the now regrettably canceled original “Law and Order” with a comedy quotient that reflects back to the episodes of “Laugh In”. Your TV is now primed for hilarity!

Starring Keir Dullea, Gary Lockwood, and Matthew Perry as Chandler Bing as the Hal 9000. This fall CBS stands for COMEDY BELONGS in SPACE.

ATX Sketchfest Performance TONIGHT at 8PM!!!

Make it if you can. Tickets are $10 and you get over an hour and a half of comedy from both the P! Company and Coldtowne’s Mainstage Sketch Revue “Shanty Town Lake”. It guarantees to be a fun night.

And stay for the 10pm- Your Terrific Neighbors and Midnight Society wrap up the evening’s performances. Then… the partying starts. (Or so I’m told- I’m not exactly sure what all that party stuff is about.)

See you there!
